About Me

I’m Marshall Piros, a communications professional with experience in technical communication, content development, marketing copywriting, and research. I recently graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a B.A. in Communication Studies and minors in Technical and Professional Communication and Science Communication.

My work has included creating technical documentation, developing marketing copy, presenting academic research, and freelancing for Make: Magazine. I am particularly interested in how people communicate about and adapt to emerging technologies; my undergraduate research explored faculty and student perceptions of generative AI in higher education, earning awards for Outstanding Undergraduate Research and the SSRIC Award for Best Use of Qualitative Data.

Whether I’m creating documentation, conducting research, or crafting content, I enjoy translating complex ideas into clear, accessible, and engaging communication that helps people understand, learn, and take action.
